Workshop: Micro-narratives – a new tool for qualitative data collection at scale

This workshop will provide an opportunity to learn about and test out micro-narratives – a new data collection tool that enables rich but narrowly scoped qualitative data from participants at cohort-level scale.
The collected micro-narratives are short, structured first-person accounts elicited through a guided LLM-supported interaction that reduces the effort of writing while preserving the participant’s own words.
Attendees will learn about the methodology, try the tool themselves, and explore how it can be integrated into existing survey platforms, including Qualtrics and Ipsos.
