Join us for a webinar exploring the potential of neonatal blood spots as a resource for longitudinal population health research.

Researchers from Generation Scotland will share their work investigating how archived new-born blood spots can be used to understand the links between early-life biology and health across the lifespan.

Speakers will introduce the exciting potential of these samples and share findings from a feasibility study using neonatal blood spots from Generation Scotland volunteers, including how researchers successfully retrieved archived samples, linked them with participant health information, and demonstrated that DNA could be extracted from decades-old blood spots for genetic and epigenetic research.

Note: More information about the webinar agenda and speakers will be available soon.
